Dr. Lane Pederson is the author of The Expanded Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training Manual: Practical DBT for Self-help, and Individual & Group Settings and Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training in Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment Settings.
A highly rated international speaker, Dr. Pederson has trained thousands of professionals in DBT and personality disorders across the United States and in Australia. Grounding DBT in therapeutic factors and evidence-based practice, Dr. Pederson emphasizes “what works” to promote effective DBT across populations and settings.
The co-owner of Mental Health Systems, PC, Dr. Pederson has overseen the care of thousands of clients seeking treatment for complex, co-morbid problems, and he has designed and implemented DBT for diverse populations across levels of care.
Dr. Pederson co-founded with other experts in DBT and evidence-based practice the first active DBT certification association, the Dialectical Behavior Therapy National Certification and Accreditation Association (DBTNCAA). The mission of the DBTNCAA is to promote the evidence-based practice of DBT and to develop an inclusive DBT community for the benefit of clients and practitioners.
